Mar Vista, Los Angeles

This home was designed by architect Michael Poloukhine in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. Michael and I collaborated on the landscape design. The stucco wall and fence delineate the property and create interesting spaces in and outside of the walls. Large Stepstone pavers and pebble guide guests to the gate and pebble is used for it’s permeable quality. A small intimate sitting area adds charm and functional space - even for the family dog!
